Robert is no stranger to the world of horses having grown-up
riding and pursuing his interest in 3-day eventing. He represented
Great Britain at international level and competed in all the
major 4 star competitions (the most challenging level).
He now channels his energy full time towards sculpture. His
work ranges in subject but his main theme is the horse. He manages
to capture the tension and drama of the sport horse in action
in the most fascinating way.
Robert's recent work has included a life size stallion sold
to an International Stud and a centrepiece
bronze sold to the French Polo Association.
He exhibited at Christie's
2002 Summer Equestrian Art Fair in London, where he received
an award from the Society of Equestrian Artistss. In December
2002 he held a one man exhibition with Horses In Art at the
Consul General's
Residence at the British Embassy in Dubai. Horses In Art
also presented an exhibiton of his work at the Al
Fares Equine Trade Fair in Dubai.
While exhibiting work in his native town of Bath he is also
now running a travelling exhibition with Horses In Art to
include venues in USA, UK and Germany.
